City of Amarillo meets on proposed fiscal year 2026/2027 budget, tax rate Tuesday

The Amarillo City Council is set to hold a special meeting to discuss the proposed fiscal year 2026/2027 budget and tax rate on Tuesday, which the Texas Municipal League notes is the last day the city may adopt the budget and tax rate before the start of the new fiscal year.
