They said that the lack of significant progress could lead to both sides deciding to resume combat. The portal, like other US media outlets, said that President Donald Trump may order to resume operations after the November midterm elections to Congress.

Axios sources said that Qatar will continue to attempt a diplomatic settlement, but it is disappointed with the actions of both sides.

On Monday, they discussed Qatar’s compromise proposal to lift the blockade against Iran and Tehran’s possible nuclear concessions.

US Vice President JD Vance was present at the meeting. However, no significant progress was observed during the consultations, a source told the portal.
