During a celebration at the Peterson Event Center with hundreds of alumni and donors, Gabel announced Proving Possible — a new campaign to support research, affordability and student and staff experience at Pitt across all five campuses. The campaign, which has already raised about $1.4 billion through previous donations, is planned to extend into the summer of 2033.
