MOSCOW, September 30. /TASS/. The people in Europe strive to know the truth about Russia despite the blockades of its media, Romanian blogger and expert at the Global Fact-Checking Network (GFCN) Ioana Jaleel told TASS.

"The most difficult thing is to find the correct information, to look for it, because you need to always look in other media, especially the Russian media. And as you know, most of the Russian media is forbidden in the European Union and it's difficult to get to the real information. This is the most difficult part," she said.

"But as long as you are objective and keep a neutral tone, you can do this work. And I really feel that the Romanian people are interested to see the truth."

Jaleel said that people in Romania show great interest in her posts.

"Even now I'm posting images and videos from Russia and they are very happy. They are saying ‘Thanks God, we see the truth because otherwise no one will show it to us.’ And I think this is a very good thing that the people are still open to look for truth and they didn't give it up yet," she continued.

"At the moment it is difficult to write anything good about Russia or anything real about Russia. But we still have some kind of freedom of speech in my country. It's not as bad as I hear it is in other places. So I'm able to do my work, no one is actually stopping me. I'm trying to be as objective as I can and to analyze the facts and not to be too political."
