Hailey Bieber offered fans a heartwarming glimpse into the way she and her husband Justin Bieber celebrated their son's second birthday.

The couple, who exchanged vows in an impromptu courthouse wedding in New York in 2018, are the proud parents of a little boy called Jack Blues.

Although they have assiduously guarded his privacy and refrained from posting his face online, Hailey, 29, let a rare peek at his life escape into the world Saturday.

She posted an Insta Stories picture of a plate of mini-pancakes topped with whipped cream and candles, writing simply: '2,' with a heart emoji.

One day earlier, Hailey - whose elder sister Alaia narrowly avoided jail this week - posted a swimsuit photo showcasing her astonishingly chiseled post-baby midriff.

In her previous remarks about motherhood, Hailey has been frank about her dedication to keeping her son away from the 'invasive' glare of public scrutiny.

'We don’t take him to a lot of places,' she said in a profile interview published when her baby was about to turn nine months old, via Vogue.

'We don’t want anyone to….I mean, you’ve just got to see how invasive it all is. It feels mean to put a baby into that,' explained the niece of Alec Baldwin.

Hailey occasionally posts photos of her son, but carefully positions his head so that his face obscured from the view of her over 58 million Instagram followers.

She uploaded one black and white snap of him to celebrate her second Mother's Day this May, writing: 'I love being your mommy.' 

That same day, her husband was spotted taking her to a Mother's Day dinner at Nobu Malibu, a celebrity hot spot known as flypaper for the Kardashians.

He had taken a dimmer view of the holiday when he marked the occasion last year with an Instagram post that read: 'Love u moms but mothers day sucks a**.'

Inasmuch as he made the remark on his wife's first Mother's Day, his post raised eyebrows and poured fuel on the gathering speculation about his marital woes.

Justin addressed his conflicts with Hailey on his album Swag last year, which also included multiple romantic paeans to his wife.

Hailey was a supportive presence at his side through the launch events for Swag, and also accompanied him to Coachella when he headlined last month.

Justin headlined both Saturdays of Coachella this year, and during Weekend 2 he welcomed Billie Eilish to the stage with him - with an assist from Hailey.

The moment was a nostalgic tip of the hat his early career, when he would bring starstruck female fans onstage to sing his 2009 hit One Less Lonely Girl.

In this case the fan in question was Eilish, whom eagle-eyed fans spotted on the livestream of the show being pushed onstage by Hailey.

Coachella was a hotly anticipated live comeback for Justin, coming after he suddenly scrapped a scheduled tour in 2022 amid his battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which left him with facial paralysis that he posted online.

Later on Saturday, Hailey jumped to her main Instagram page to share a series of photos with her son for a sweet birthday tribute. 

She penned to her followers: 'our sweet baby is 2 happy birthday Jack Blues.' 

One image showed the Rhode founder laying next to her little one on a spacious couch. 

Hailey held a small smile as she glanced towards the camera for a selfie while holding Jack in her arms. 

Her baby boy could be seen sitting on her lap in another image as they spent time by a scenic lake. 

The media personality also gave Jack a kiss on the cheek as they enjoyed a day outside near a forest. 

The music artist soaked up the sun as he held hands with their little one for a relaxing stroll together. 

Another snap captured their son resting his hand on Hailey's cheek during an adorable moment. 

Other pictures included in the Instagram carousel showed Hailey feeding her son with a bottle as well as Jack standing in a black and white photo. 

Lastly, the star also shared a short reel of Jack showing off his golf skills as he hit a ball with a club.
