50 Cent and Reebok are bringing back one of the rapper’s defining sneaker collaborations, reviving the G-Unit G6 more than two decades after its original debut.

The G-Unit G6 will return August 20, 2026, at 10 a.m. ET through Reebok.com and select retailers for an MSRP of $130. The retro will arrive in the classic red, white, and blue colorway and will be offered in unisex sizes 3.5 through 13, plus size 14.

Originally released in 2003, the G6 landed as 50 Cent was at the peak of his breakthrough run following the blockbuster success of his multi-platinum debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’. The low-top sneaker paired a relatively clean, court-inspired design with G-Unit branding, and its initial production run quickly sold out in key markets, a testament to 50 Cent’s popularity and marketability.

50 Cent celebrated the legacy of the G6 sneaker coinciding with news of its revival. “The G-Unit sneaker represents a special time in my career and in hip-hop,” the 51-year-old said in a statement. “What we created with Reebok had a real impact on sneaker culture, and it’s incredible to see that influence still resonate more than 20 years later. I’m excited to bring it back for the people who were there the first time and a whole new generation.”

Reebok CEO Todd Krinsky echoed Fif’s sentiments while acknowledging the rapper’s history with the brand. “Our relationship with 50 has always gone beyond sneakers,” Krinsky said. “He helped define an important chapter in Reebok’s history, and together we created something that had a lasting impact on sport style and culture.”

The partnership began in 2003, when 50 Cent and Reebok announced a long-term agreement centered on the G-Unit Collection by RBK. The deal was later reported as a five-year arrangement, with Reebok licensing the G-Unit sneaker line; Forbes reported that Reebok paid $20 million for the licensing deal.

The release of the G6 came amid a trend of Hip-Hop stars entering collaborations, partnerships, and endorsements with shoe brands. That same year, Jay-Z released his Reebok S. Carter sneaker, which he famously was seen wearing in 2024 during Super Bowl LVIII.

The G6 became the flagship of Fif’s relationship with Reebok and was followed by models including the G XT cross-trainer and G-Unit Boot.
