  • This forged carbon fiber body kit can cost upwards of $120,000.
  • Key changes include aggressive front and rear fascias, as well as a large wing.
  • The Temerario kit’s highlight includes a carbon fiber roof scoop.

With customer deliveries of the Lamborghini Temerario well underway, it’s inevitable that some owners will turn to the aftermarket to upgrade and customize their cars. Several tuners have already announced body kits for the V8-powered weapon, and California-based 1016 Industries is the latest.

For Temerario owners who think the car’s design is absolutely perfect, this kit probably won’t appeal to them. But if you own a Lamborghini, you’re probably not afraid to make a statement and stand out. After all, of all the supercars out there, few turn heads quite like ones with the Raging Bull badge.

The 1016 Industries kit has been designed to be fully reversible, meaning owners don’t need to worry about destroying the car’s standard bodywork, an important consideration when it comes time to sell. Most pieces in the kit are available in traditional twill carbon fiber, forged carbon fiber, or a cheaper fiber-reinforced polymer for those on a tighter budget.

Carbon Everywhere

The biggest changes are the flared quarter panels and wheel arches, which completely transform the car’s overall stance. Then there’s the front, complete with a new bumper and splitter package, complemented by an aggressive new hood and louvers on the front fenders.

Tweaks are also visible down the sides of the Lamborghini Temerario and include new skirts, custom air intakes, and the option of aftermarket wheels. For as wild as the front of the car is, the rear half is arguably even more outlandish, rocking a massive, fixed rear wing and lip spoiler, a sexy roof scoop, a bespoke bumper, and a new diffuser.

There’s no word on whether these changes improve the Temerario’s aerodynamics or hurt its ability to slice through the air. Nevertheless, they clearly fulfill the objective of making an already outlandish car look even crazier.

Owners may have to think carefully about whether they want all of these upgrades, given how pricey they are. Those looking to buy every piece that makes up the kit will have to cough up over $120,000 for the forged carbon fiber finish, or slightly less with standard carbon fiber or the fiber-reinforced polymer. For upgrades that provide no meaningful performance benefit, that’s a lot of money.
