TEHRAN, October 4. /TASS/. Reopening the Strait of Hormuz will take no more than a week if the United States accepts Iran’s proposed settlement plan, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said.

"Most importantly, there is the plan presented by the Islamic Republic of Iran this year to resolve the existing disagreements and ongoing conflict between Iran and the United States. This plan is known as the ‘seven-day plan.’ If it is accepted, the Strait of Hormuz will reopen within seven days," he said at a meeting with heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Tehran.

Araghchi promised to provide further details later.
