They say good things come in threes, and that was certainly true of the Rolex Daytonas we saw celebrities wearing this week. Jason Momoa, Sylvester Stallone, and Luke Bryan flexed different iterations of the Crown’s legendary chronograph, with the trio of timepieces showing just how much the model has evolved since launching in 1963.
Momoa opted for a classic, strapping on a gold version of the Ref. 6263 that Rolex introduced in 1971. Bryan went more modern, wearing an iced-out Everose-gold iteration that debuted in 2024. Stallone, on the other hand, was all about exclusivity, rocking a rare off-catalog variant with a turquoise dial. He also showed off a coveted, off-catalog GMT-Master II this week, proving just how tight he is with Rolex.
Below are the seven best watch flexes of the week.

Omega faithful Eddie Redmayne showed off one of the Swiss watchmaker’s new Constellation Observatory watches at the Saint Laurent fashion show on Tuesday. Omega introduced the collection in March, dropping nine fresh references and two new calibers. Each one pays homage to earlier Constellations, showcasing vintage-inspired cases with faceted “dog-leg” lugs, dodecagonal pie-pan dials, kite-form indexes, and dauphine hands. This example pairs a 39.4 mm O-Megasteel case with a black ceramic dial and glossy black leather strap. Inside lies an in-house self-winding movement (calibre 8914) with a 60-hour power reserve. The watch gives you bragging rights, too, as the Constellation Observatory was the first two-hander to achieve Master Chronometer certification. This reference retails for $12,200.

It was hard to miss the dazzling Rolex Daytona on Luke Bryan’s wrist as he performed the title track from his new album, Signs, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Sunday. Released in 2024, this iteration (Ref. 126535TBR) of the Crown’s iconic 1960s chrono features a 40 mm Everose gold case and a complementary “sundust” dial with diamond markers. More dazzling diamonds adorn the bezel and lugs. Adding contrast are the black counter rings and the black rubber Oysterflex strap. The watch retails for $149,600.

Riz Ahmed is no stranger to beautiful wristwatches with equally beautiful complications and displays, previously strapping on a Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Retrograde Day-Date and a Girard-Perregaux Laureato Skeleton. His latest stunner, which he showed off on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Thursday, comes courtesy of Blancpain. The Villeret Quantième Complet is a contemporary riff on the 1980s original, featuring a 40 mm steel case and a white dial with a complete calendar and moon phase complication. Flip it over, and the sapphire crystal caseback spotlights the self-winding caliber 6654.4, which offers a 72-hour power reserve. You can pick one up for $19,600.

Jason Momoa wore a punchy Rolex Daytona to a Street Fighter photocall in London on Thursday. Released in 1971, the Ref. 6263 is among the most collectible Daytonas today. It was offered in a small range of configurations, with this particular iteration perhaps the most striking. It features a yellow-gold case, a black dial with contrasting Champagne-hued subdials, a black acrylic bezel with a tachymeter scale, distinctive screw-down pushers rather than pump pushers, and a black rubber strap. Expect to pay between $200,000 and $400,000 to pick one up on the secondary market.

Josh Hartnett is back in the spotlight, and dressing his wrist accordingly. The actor attended the New York premiere of Verity with a very trendy Cartier on his wrist. Released in 2022, this Tank Louis Cartier features a medium 25.5 mm case made of 18-karat yellow gold, a minimalist black dial with gold sword-shaped hands, a beaded crown set with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel, and a black alligator strap. Priced at $14,800, the elegant watch has been given the tick of approval from A-listers including Paul Mescal, Rami Malek, Oscar Isaac, and Dwayne Wade.

Nick Jonas was drinking a coffee but wearing a “Root Beer” on the streets of N.Y.C. on Tuesday evening. Released in 2018, this Rolex GMT-Master II (Ref. 126715CHNR) was the first in the GMT-Master universe to be solid Everose gold. It also features the famous two-tone “Root Beer” bezel in black and brown Cerachrom—the same colors as the A&W logo, hence the nickname—which surrounds a contrasting black dial. You can pick one up for $53,100.

Rocky himself has turned to stone. Sylvester Stallone wore an off-catalog Rolex Daytona (Ref. 126538TBR) with a gorgeous hardstone dial on Special Report with Bret Baier. The veined turquoise at the center is further elevated by the white diamonds on the hour markers, bezel, and lugs. Rounding the design is a 40 mm yellow gold case and a black Oysterflex strap. This rarity is listed for as much as $1 million on Chrono24. Believe it or not, the Daytona wasn’t the only ultra-exclusive Rollie that Sly flexed this week. He also showed off a coveted, off-catalog Rolex GMT-Master II (Ref. 126755EMSA) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
