Pusheen the Cat makes the leap from internet icon to video game star. Pusheen’s Place is now available exclusively on Apple Arcade, giving fans a cozy new way to spend time with the famously adorable feline.

Apple launched the game on October 1 alongside four other additions to Apple Arcade: River City Survivors, Terraria+, Touchgrind BMX 2+ and 4 Pics 1 Word+.

Pusheen gets her own cozy game on Apple Arcade

Pusheen’s Place lets players build their own Pusheen paradise while collecting more than 100 different kitties. Players can craft and decorate rooms for characters including Pusheenicorn and Pancake Pusheen, then take a break with mini-games such as Snack Stack, Parfait Pop and Batch Match.

Pusheen’s Place is the first officially licensed game starring Pusheen. It joins Apple’s growing collection of so-called cozy games, which emphasize relaxation and self-expression rather than the violent themes common in more traditional titles. Other cozy games on Apple Arcade include Hello Kitty Island Adventure and Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom.

Apple Arcade subscribers can play Pusheen’s Place without ads or additional in-app purchases.

The game throws players into waves of zombies, with flashy special moves and randomized upgrades helping them build a stronger run each time.

More than 20 characters are playable, including series favorites Kunio and Riki, while players can recruit up to two companions to join the fight.

Terraria+ is a sandbox action-adventure where players fight, explore, and build their way through an ever-expanding world. Players can also join forces with up to seven friends via Game Center or local Wi-Fi and explore more than 20 biomes in a boundless adventure of survival, discovery, and creativity.

Rounding out the trio are Touchgrind BMX 2+, a physics-driven BMX stunt game with unique two-finger controls that make every trick feel real, and 4 Pics 1 Word+, the Arcade edition of the popular puzzle game that’s stumped and delighted more than 400 million players worldwide.

That’s because he’s a “tablet first” type of guy. Rather than use a Macbook, he connects a keyboard case to the iPad. And instead of a desktop Mac, he connects his tablet to a 27-inch display and full-size keyboard. (So don’t try to tell him that everyone has to use a Mac to be productive.)
