The Journal of African Trade is a peer-reviewed, open access scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research and policy dialogue on international trade and trade finance, with a particular focus on Africa and its global economic relationships. Published by the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), it features high-quality theoretical and empirical research on international trade, trade finance, economic development, and related policy and institutional issues, with special attention to Africa’s trade and development context. The Journal of African Trade is a fully open access journal. All articles are made immediately and permanently available online without subscription barriers, allowing users to read, download, copy, and distribute content in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license. The journal does not charge publication fees to authors, as open access publishing costs are supported by Afreximbank.
