FOSSASIA PGDay is an annual gathering for PostgreSQL users, developers, and enthusiasts, bringing together the community from across Asia and beyond. Co-located with the FOSSASIA Summit, the event provides a focused forum for sharing knowledge, practical experiences, and insights into PostgreSQL and its growing ecosystem. Previous editions have taken place in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia, connecting local communities with contributors, users, and organizations from around the world.

FOSSASIA PGDay highlights PostgreSQL in real-world applications and its role as a scalable, secure, and cost-effective open-source data platform. It also creates opportunities to build connections within the PostgreSQL community and the wider open-source ecosystem.

The CFP is open until November 30, 2026. Slots are limited, so early submissions are encouraged. 👉 Submit your proposal here

FOSSASIA PGDay features a single-track program, giving all participants the opportunity to follow the same talks and discussions throughout the day. Following the technical program, a social event will provide an opportunity for community networking, informal discussions, and collaboration in Bangkok.

We welcome proposals on topics including:

• PostgreSQL development and administration
• Performance, scaling, and high availability
• Security and reliability
• Cloud, containers, and infrastructure
• Data engineering and analytics
• Extensions and ecosystem tools
• Migration and modernization
• Real-world deployments and case studies
• PostgreSQL community and adoption

PGDay is made possible through the support of sponsors. We invite you to share the prospectus with your company or contacts. For questions or to discuss sponsorship opportunities, please feel free to get in touch. 👉 View the Sponsorship Prospectus
