CUCM on ESXi on a rented dedicated server: has anyone done this?

Cisco's virtualization requirements say CUCM is supported only on VMware ESXi, on Cisco UCS, HyperFlex or specs-based third-party servers, and not on third-party public clouds.We running multiple CUCM servers and are considering a dedicated bare-metal server rented monthly from a hosting provider, where we would install ESXi ourselves on hardware that meets the specs-based list. Nobody else would share the hardware.Has anyone done something like this, or do you know whom at Cisco (or which partner) we could ask whether this counts as specs-based and is supported? If you think it is doable, any pointers would be welcome. Thank you!
