Amanda Bynes put her edgy fashion style on full display during a solo stroll in Los Angeles.

The former What A Girl Wants star, 40, was spotted wearing a see-through gray miniskirt that clearly outlined her bright green underwear underneath.

Bynes, who recently splashed out on a $160k Range Rover, paired the revealing garment with a loose white button-down blouse, navy crew socks and pink sneakers.

She sported her usual heavily inked black eyebrows and a neutral-toned lip shade along with green-tinged nails.

Bynes' boyfriend, Zachary Khan, 40, was nowhere to be seen, and she seemed to be in her own world, strutting her toned legs down the sidewalk and speaking into her cell phone as she headed to her neighborhood Starbucks for her favorite java.

The outing comes in the wake of Bynes' emotional reaction to the death of fellow child star Hayden Panettiere last month.

Panettiere, who was 36, was found dead of a suspected overdose on August 16 at an Airbnb in Greenville, South Carolina, where she had traveled to with her on-off boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, who is a native of the state.

Hickerson was on the scene along with his brother Zachary when she was pronounced dead, according to a heavily redacted police report, and her autopsy found 'no signs of trauma' that 'would have contributed to the death.'

The relationship was volatile almost from the start in 2018, with the actor arrested multiple times for domestic violence against the actress, who herself had faced struggles with alcohol and opioid addiction and postpartum depression leading to rehab stays in 2015, 2016 and again in 2020.

Panettiere's sudden death was a shock to fans, family and friends in the entertainment industry, Bynes included.

Bynes shared a short tribute to Panettiere on LinkedIn on August 17, writing: 'Life can hit you hard, and fast. What a horrible situation.'

Accompanying her post were screenshots from a past interview where Panettiere had discussed the pressures and unrealistic expectations of growing up in the Hollywood spotlight.

When a commenter reminded her to 'please be kind,' Bynes replied: 'I was simply stating... glass houses.'

On August 11, Bynes' former All That co-star Christy Knowings died, aged 46.

Her cause of death was revealed to be from cardiac arrest with acute hypoxic respiratory failure and status asthmaticus as conditions leading to her passing, and asthma being the underlying cause, according to a death certificate obtained by People.

A family member had told TMZ that Christy was hospitalized four days earlier following an asthma attack and then taken off life support.

Bynes, meanwhile, left the entertainment industry over a decade ago to deal with mental health and substance abuse issues that had been made public.

Her parents were granted a conservatorship in 2013.

She next enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, earning an associate's degree in 2019.

Bynes officially filed a petition to end her conservatorship in February 2022 and a judge formally approved the petition and terminated the nine-year conservatorship a month later.

These days, Bynes, who lost more than 30lbs on Ozempic, continues to focus on her health, hobbies and sobriety. She has been in a relationship with 40-year-old businessman Zachary Khan since September 2025.

In April, she made a musical comeback and released Girlfriend, her first new song in years, on streaming platforms.

'My inspiration was a lot of EDM, as well as rap,' she told E! News.

Bynes collaborated with rapper Fenix Flexin on the song and signed with the Create Music Group label, who have worked with the likes of Jason Derulo and Deadmau5.

A year ago, Bynes also joined OnlyFans as a way to connect with her fans.

She told her Instagram followers at the time: 'Disclaimer: I'm doing onlyfans to chat with my fans through dm's. I won't be posting any sleazy content. Excited to join. (sic)'
