UNITED NATIONS, October 10. /TASS/. Europe is not acting as a mediator in the settlement of the Ukraine conflict but as its main sponsor, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said.

"Europe is not acting as a mediator or a force for peace, but as the main sponsor of the continuation of the war. Meanwhile, people in European countries are beginning to understand that their leaders are preparing them for a full-scale war with Russia, as early as 2030," he said at a UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine convened at the request of Western countries.
