A Massachusetts ice-cream shop owner posted a strongly worded reminder to customers who behave rudely toward his teenage employees.
Dave Forgit, co-owner of Coldstuff Ice Cream in Blackstone, took to Facebook Sunday after growing sick of visitors being disrespectful to his staff.
'I swear to God. STOP YELLING AT MY F***ING EMPLOYEES. They are children. This job, for most of them, is their first,' Forgit posted. 'They are going to make mistakes... It's ice cream, for crying out loud. Grow up and act your age.'
Forgit followed up his post with a comment, writing: 'And NOBODY gives a sh*t if you don't come back. We'd prefer it that way.'
Forgit and his brother Kevin Miller run the shop together. The duo said a customer who yelled at one of their teenage workers over a wrong sundae price was what sent them over the edge.
'It's supposed to be laid back. It's ice cream. It's supposed to be a happy place and a happy time. Settle down, take a breath, touch grass,' Forgit told WFXT. 'The amount of verbal abuse that these young kids get in a day is shocking to me. It's wild.'

But Forgit did not expect the post to go viral after he hit the publish button.
The post has garnered 300,000 likes and more than 23,000 comments.
One user wrote: 'If my boss rode for me like this I would have stayed at that LAME ahh job back then. I think I want some ice cream!'
Another commented: 'Looks like a trip to Massachusetts for some ice cream is in order...'
Since the rant, Coldstuff has been flooded with new customers.
Customer Mackenzie Cahill told WFXT: 'I knew after seeing the post that I just had to come in and stop by and show the support.'
