Matrix notes:
mixed 50/50 in Audacity (both faders -3.37 dB, mix-bus peak -1.0 dBFS).
The sources were aligned with my Audacity-MCP-Audio-Matrix python tool: (https://github.com/bchap1n/Audacity-MCP-Audio-Matrix) driven by Meta Muse Spark 1.3 in OMP harness. I chose the SBD as the primary source because it was pitch corrected and because the tool tends to work better with sbd as the primary. All alignment changes (pitch etc) were done to the aud/secondary source. Alignment required a 331-segment model with per-song ear verification. I did not take a lot of care or time with fades or patches. The model could not sync a few sections of the aud so I just left the gap and you may hear short parts that are sbd only (beginning of Samson, etc).

This is the second mix I have done with the tool, but the first Grateful Dead show. The python tool did all of the alignment work. The only thing I did outside the tool/model was trim some unsynced gaps and choose the song starting points in Audacity. It took around 5 days working with the LLM model (Spark) to create the alignment and use the experience + data to refine the tool. I think the tool was substantially improved and I hope it will make the next project faster.

This is the first matrix release registered on etreedb for this show. This is probably due to the missing material in the sbd source. I feel that the mix result is pretty damn good. The sbd is a warm punchy sounding cassette but very dry and not super balanced. The Streeter audience is really nice but distant. I just love this show and think its full of juice. Space is very musical and the transition to Lost Sailor is excellent. Really not a dull moment or song in the show. enjoy.
