On this episode of New Order, we speak to Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, ex-chief of staff to former US Secretary of State Colin Powell. He discusses the end of America’s 23-year occupation of Iraq and what prompted Iraq to renew its push to expel US troops, military-industrial complex profiteering off of the US war on Iran and why this could be the end of the US presence in the Middle East, his claim that Donald Trump has given the green light to use nuclear weapons against Iran, Pete Hegseth’s efforts to create a Christian nationalist segment of the US military, why the US-brokered negotiations between Ukraine and Russia are political theater for Trump, how Iran would retaliate against Israel if it used nuclear weapons, why Iran has given up on negotiations and normal diplomatic relations with the US, the possibility of civil unrest in the US, and much more.

Finally, New Order’s Zarah Khan asks questions from you the viewers to Afshin Rattansi. You can send in your questions to be answered to @AfshinRattansi on X to be answered on next week’s episode!
