Both think the EU’s days are numbered. Dr. Bordachev says it will be natural, as the bloc is a US puppet. Dr. Karaganov is more radical in his view, saying it should be finished off by Russia, by force, after decades of escalations against Moscow. They also talk about the Ukraine conflict and agree that there is no chance of survival for the Kiev regime. Dr. Karaganov has also served as a non-governmental adviser for Russia’s leadership, and he brings some insights on Vladimir Putin and other Russian and Soviet heads of state.
