They are usually the preserve of the Wags but Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has built up his very own collection of luxury handbags.

The Mail on Sunday can reveal that the Norwegian footballer has already amassed an impressive Hermes bag collection worth more than £650,000.

And the 6 ft 5 in Viking is hardly shy of flaunting his collection. Haaland, 25, who reportedly earns £500,000 per week, is proud of his investments.

The most expensive handbag in his collection is a £330,000 ultra-rare Hermes Birkin 25 Himalaya Niloticus Crocodile – and girlfriend Isabel Haugseng Johansen has been seen with it.

Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez are also believed to be owners of the bag.

And when arriving at the World Cup, fashion lover Haaland stepped off Norway’s private jet with the ultra-rare ‘Endless Road’ Haut a Courroies, crafted from Togo leather.

The footballer casually balanced the £45,000 bag on top of his suitcase, pairing it with a backwards cap, the team’s official suit and sunglasses.

Haaland has been seen in recent months with a £30,000 Hermes H Togo HAC Casaque Birkin 40 Palladium, a £37,000 Hermes Toile Hac Birkin 40 and a £50,000 Hermes Evercalf Toile Cargo Haut A Courroies Birkin.

To buy a Birkin bag, customers must first establish a ‘pre-spend’ history where they prove they’re regular Hermes customers.

Wait times can then vary between months and years for a specific bag, especially rare ones. Haaland is said to be worth over £60 million after signing a blockbuster deal with Manchester City last year. Only Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe earn more.

Haaland also has a £1 million watch collection. His most expensive timepiece is the gold Royal Oak Jumbo by Audemars Piguet, priced at £281,445.

Haaland lives in a £6.2 million country estate in Cheshire with a private lake and ten bedrooms with Ms Haugseng Johansen and their 18-month-old son.
