This was announced by Borys Kolesnikov, the Prime Minister of the Opposition government, during a visit to Kharkov Machine-Building Plant “FED” on Monday, March 5. 

He noted that the plant “FED” is a state-of-the-art production. “Today, there is much talk about the digital economy and the fourth industrial revolution. Anyone who wants to see this with their own eyes, welcome to “FED”. Here, the digital economy is already in motion, everything has been fully digitized and ultramodern equipment has been installed,” – the Opposition Prime Minister said.

According to him, the state should provide for orders and support domestic industrial enterprises.

“Regarding machine building. Of course, there must be a market place, there must be financing. The industry can not develop when the National Bank raises the discount rate to 17%. It doesn't work that way. Machine buildings can not develop without state support and banking system.

Inflation in Ukraine can be overcome only by economic growth. There must be peace and a Constitution with real decentralization – these are steps to economic growth," - the Prime Minister of the Opposition government said.

In his opinion, the power killed a real sector with populism.

“About the “to turn the gas down” initiative. There is a very simple thing. Let us on October 15, when the heating season starts, we will send not schools, kindergartens and universities for holidays, but the Cabinet of Ministers, the Verkhovna Rada, the Presidential Administration and the regional administrations. Now in every city there are communities, so no one will notice. On the contrary, the government will seem smarter when it will not be seen from October 15 to April 15. In all civilized countries of the world, the first thing that the government does is scrimp on itself,” – the Prime Minister of the Opposition Government said.
