NAPA VALLEY ON VACAY: While other gorgeous foodie destinations may take a bit of a breather following the busy holiday stretch, Napa Valley doesn’t seem to take a well-deserved pause. The wine country region moves directly from new year revelries into Wild Mustard Season, which begins the year with splashes of sunshine everywhere and events inspired by the floral yellow wonder. Following the mustard, art-inspired happenings captivate as “Arts in April” kicks off. So the question a fan of the vine-tastic place must ask is this: Does Napa Valley need a quick little vacay around the middle of spring and where would such a trip occur? Look to Huntington Beach for that answer, and the Paséa Hotel & Spa, for a NV-themed pop-up, full of crisp and deep and delightful wines, will soon take root. Well, for a single springful day, that is: You’ll want to make your way to Taste of Napa, presented by Festival Napa Valley, on April 12.
30+ WINERIES: A bevy of vineyards, winemakers, and libation-perfect powerhouses will be in attendance and pouring sippable samples; look for Grgich Hills Estate, Diamond Mountain Vineyard, and Tomorrow Cellars and several other Napa Valley casks-and-barrels icons. Wine-complementing vittles will be tastily provided by Paséa Hotel & Spa, so prepare to snack as well as sip. “Taste of Napa showcases the exceptional wines, cuisine, and hospitality that make Napa Valley so special,” said Ken Savage, the festival’s Director of Events. “We’re thrilled to introduce this experience to Southern California and to welcome guests to Napa this summer.” Oh yes: If you have a glass-raising time in Huntington Beach, the “Taste”-y event will unfurl at The Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa July 11. It’s Festival Napa Valley’s 20th Summer Season in 2026, so plan on a celebratory kaleidoscope of cultural and flavorful festivities.
