The U.S. Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against New York state and Public Partnerships LLC, alleging fraud and bid rigging in the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program, which has resulted in millions of dollars in losses for taxpayers and disruption of care for vulnerable New Yorkers.
