Jess Glynne has discussed whether she will be proposing to girlfriend Alex Scott after the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star hinted she was waiting for the singer to pop the question. 

Sports pundit Alex, 41, has told cher campmates on the ITV reality show that she is 'madly in love' with the Hold My Hand hitmaker. 

The presenter opened up to her campmates Ruby Wax and Shona McGarty, saying: 'I think before her, I never knew happiness... we fell madly in love.'

'I will get married to her, just waiting for her to ask,' she joked - and after tuning into the episode, Jess, 36, told her followers she 'better go get a ring'. 

Appearing alongside Alex's mum Carol McKee on This Morning on Friday, Jess further opened up on her engagement plans - but failed to confirm whether she had been shopping for a diamond just yet. 

Quizzed by hosts Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond, Jess was asked: 'She's been talking about marriage. Have you got the ring yet?' 

'Yes,' Jess replied, before quickly trying to cover her response. 'The pressure! Why do I have to ask her? It's a weird one, you never know who will ask who but...' 

Flicking her hair over her shoulder, Jess offered up a suggestive smile towards the host, as Alison, 50, added: 'You know you've got the ring! Watch this space!'

Jess continued of Alex's heartfelt and open conversations with campmates on the show: 'I'm just proud of like the conversation she's having.

'Her bravery and just being like true to who she is. That for me is like coming across so well, I think she's doing well.

'She struggled to have certain conversations anyway, and she's so private and whatever. Then you see that and I'm like, "Wow. She's really feeling comfortable".'

The same could not be said for mum Carol, who admitted she found some of the truths her daughter was sharing in camp have been hard to hear. 

Alex admitted in camp how she found sex with women 'more passionate' as she spoke about her sexuality, telling her co-stars: 'It’s completely different with women, especially for me. It’s always been about a deep emotional connection which then makes the sex more passionate than ever anyway because you have such a deep bond between you.'

Carol joked: 'I'm not too impressed... I really didn't want to know about it!'

Nonetheless, she's proud of Alex and added: 'I still think she's got a lot more to give. She's not actually really showing her full self yet.' 

It comes after Alex revealed a huge personal update about her relationship with Jess on an episode of the ITV show last week. 

The former Lioness has been romantically involved with Jess since summer 2023. 

Opening up on how they met, Alex said: 'She approached me in Chiltern Firehouse.

'I was in there with my friends and she just walked up to me… [it was] really ballsy and I was like, I like your ballsiness, and then the spark was just instant and then yeah…we fell madly in love.'

She spoke of how Jess encouraged her to come out of herself and 'show them what I see everyday'. 

Prior to entering the jungle, Alex said she feared being apart from Jess for so long.

Speaking to Daily Mail she said that it's the longest the pair have been apart from each other since they started dating in 2023, confessing: 'It's going to be a test for both of us'. 

The former Lioness also revealed why they waited so long to make their relationship public when they started dating. 

She said: 'From the start, we were very guarded and private because we wanted to get to know each other and figure out ourselves before it was out there for the world.'

On what she'll miss about Jess, she continued:  'Her cooking pasta for me is absolutely everything. 

'Those quiet moments when your life's a hundred miles per hour, just coming home and she loves to cook and we love to sit and have a glass of wine.'

Alex continued: 'I'll most probably be watching football in the background. But yeah, I'm definitely going to miss that, especially when I'm so hungry.

'And that's most probably all I'm going to be thinking about is 'Please, can I just have Jessica's pasta right now?'

The pundit also said she is going to find it 'tough' on I'm A Celebrity as she now has 'big armour up' due to 'how the public perceive me'.
