Jack Osbourne is reportedly being closely monitored by I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Bosses following his emotional start to camp life, just months after the death of his father, Ozzy. 

The Black Sabbath legend passed away aged 76 on July 22 at his UK home, surrounded by his loved ones. 

Since the British reality show's launch episode on Sunday, Jack, 40, has broken down in tears while discussing his father's 'shocking' death, and clashed with campmate Kelly Brook, 45, over how she cuts potatoes. 

Following the spat, Kelly became emotional and apologised, after which Jack stepped back from his duties as camp chef. 

Concerns were also raised over Jack's well-being after This Morning hosts Alison Hammond, 50, and comedian Leigh Francis, 52, suggested he may have entered the jungle too soon following Ozzy's passing. 

A camp insider told The Sun: 'Jack has looked dejected at times and clearly has a lot on his mind. Bosses are monitoring his situation intensely.

'ITV has strong duty of care procedures in place and producers do their utmost to ensure campmates are OK 24/7 — but never more so than in situations like this.' 

Alison also spoke about Jack on I'm A Celebrity: Unpacked, saying: 'He struggles. Even when he sees other people cooking, he’s like, "I want to get involved".

'If you’re gonna step back, step back. I think he should just chill for a bit. I actually feel it’s too soon for him to be in the jungle.' 

When host Joel Dommett, 40, asked if her comments related to Ozzy, Alison replied: 'Yeah, I think maybe he should’ve waited a bit. I found it quite painful seeing his pain on camera.' 

Joel suggested Jack's emotional outbursts could stem from grief over his father, with Leigh adding: 'There's so much sadness in his face. I think it’s too soon. He’s gonna get angry at things because his emotions are all over the place.' 

'I know he’s come in here to sort of keep his mind occupied and busy and get through the grief, but I think it’s still there. I don’t think he’s controlling. I think he’s trying to lead.'

On Monday's show, Jack broke down in tears while recounting his father's death - admitting the rock star's passing 'still feels fresh'.

The emotional moment began with Emmerdale star Lisa Riley asking about Ozzy while she and Jack sat around the campfire.

In response, Jack admitted of his father's passing: 'It was definitely a shock.

'I mean, we knew he was sick for a while, but it was definitely a shock, I mean, we didn’t know it would be that quick..'

'It was the ultimate mic drop, he did a massive big gig and was like, alright, I’m done.'

At this point, Jack then became visibly teary, with Lisa offering her support to him.

He then addressed what Ozzy would think of him signing up to I'm A Celebrity.

Jack shared: 'He’d be so supportive of this.'

Later on in The Bush Telegraph, the celebrity campmate revealed: 'I’m still navigating it all, it’s been three, nearly four months, and so it’s still pretty fresh.'
