Variable Line Thickness

Hello,
I’m looking for a way to have a curved line that gets thicker as it moves from left to right. Is this possible? If so, how do you do it?
I know that while using the Pen/Pencil tool, there is a thickness attribute in the Inspector but it applies to the entire path. That’s not what I’m looking for.
Sorry if this is a basic question, I’m new to the digital art world. Thanks!
EDIT: Added an image to show what I mean. The left side of the line is way thinner than the right.
