Bodhi Tree Multimedia Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the government of Tripura on Tuesday to develop the state’s digital media infrastructure, creator economy and technology-driven public engagement platforms.

The Mumbai-based company with a market capitalisation of approximately ₹114.83 crore, said the partnership would cover digital media platform development, creator ecosystem initiatives, digital marketing capabilities and media intelligence solutions. The collaboration is framed as a long-term strategic arrangement aligned with Tripura’s goal of building a digitally enabled creative economy.

Managing Director and CEO Mautik Tolia said the company intended to apply its expertise in media, technology and digital platforms to build sustainable digital infrastructure for the state, supporting the creator economy and enhancing citizen-facing digital services.

For Bodhi Tree Multimedia, the deal marks a continued strategic shift beyond content production into technology-enabled digital ecosystems. The company, which operates across television, OTT and digital platforms through creator-led studios and an in-house technology platform, described the MoU as consistent with its long-term ambition of blending content, technology and digital infrastructure.

The company said it views such government partnerships as a scalable model that could be replicated with other state administrations pursuing digital transformation programmes.

Bodhi Tree Multimedia’s stock traded at ₹6.32 on Tuesday, down 0.94 per cent intraday, and remains under pressure over longer timeframes, off roughly 27 per cent year-to-date and nearly 24 per cent over one year. The stock touched a 52-week high of ₹10.50 in September 2025 and a low of ₹5.06 in March 2026. Deliverable quantity as a share of traded volume stood at 79.53 per cent.
