A Bronx NYPD precinct boss who allegedly told a woman underling “I want to make biracial babies with you” surrendered Friday to face an attempted rape charge at the very same station he once commanded, authorities said.

Inspector Jeremy Scheublin, 45, was arrested after he turned himself in at the 46th Precinct — where one of his officers has accused him of sexual assault, police said.

He later arrived in handcuffs at Bronx Supreme Court, where he pleaded not guilty as he was arraigned on first-degree attempted rape and first-degree sexual abuse charges.

Bronx assistant district attorney Michael Naughton contended video evidence corroborated the underling’s accusation that Scheublin sexually assaulted her inside his precinct office.

“There is a video in the precinct, not in the inspector’s office,” the prosecutor said. “The video is consistent with the allegations as to what occurs before and after.”

“The victim has various bruises that are documented, that are documented as a result of inspector Scheublin’s sexual assault,” the prosecutor said.

Prosecutors asked for Scheublin to be held behind bars on $150,000 cash bail, but Judge Laurence Busching set it at $25,000, which Scheublin put up and was later freed.

He was mobbed by a group of supporters, mostly women, after the arraignment.

Denise Melendez, a retired NYPD detective, said the accusations against Scheublin were out of character for the man she knew for 17 years.

“He had assistants, he’s worked with females, plenty of times, and this is the first time this has come out,” she said.

Scheublin’s defense lawyer Oliver Storch contended that the accuser made up the story to score a big payday.

“The complainant bragged to a fellow female officer that she would set up a boss with false claim of sexual assault for financial gain,” Storch told The Post.

“After the incident, she ran to that officer again and said, ‘Back me up on this and we’re going to have sister houses,’” he added, contending prosecutors went ahead with criminal charges even after the officer spoke with them.

The victim’s attorney, John Scola, slammed the idea that the alleged assault was fabricated.

“A woman inventing a story for money doesn’t report it to Internal Affairs the next morning and then wait more than a year to sue,” Scola said.

“Mr. Storch is smearing a sexual-assault victim — and ignoring the grand jury that just indicted his client — because he has no answer for what Scheublin did.”

The Post first reported the accusations against Scheublin detailed in a bombshell lawsuit.

The stomach-churning complaint contended Scheublin violently groped the woman cop after he called her into his 46th Precinct office, allegedly telling her, “I don’t know whether to kiss or choke you.”

Scheublin allegedly lifted the woman off the ground and onto an office couch, where he kissed her, the lawsuit states.

“I want to make biracial babies with you,” Scheublin, who is white, told the black officer, according to the suit.

The violent encounter ended after the woman kicked Scheublin in the groin, the complaint states.

The woman’s accusations prompted an NYPD internal affairs probe in January 2025, officials said.

“We hold our police officers to the highest standards and have zero tolerance for misconduct of any kind,” an NYPD spokesperson said. “The NYPD conducts thorough investigations into any allegation that a member of the department failed to meet those standards — and that’s exactly what happened here.

“The NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau investigated these deeply troubling claims and referred this case to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.”

Scheublin was suspended last week — roughly four months after his accused filed the lawsuit.
