Rapper Lil Wayne is getting back into the podcast business and has teamed with sports talk radio veteran Craig Carton.

The pair are launching The Joint Venture Show on July 22 on YouTube and other platforms.

The weekly series is produced by Magilla Entertainment, the company behind Peacock’s O’ahu Shores and Discovery’s Moonshiners.

It marks Lil Wayne’s return to podcasting, having previously hosted Young Money Radio on Apple Music.

The pair will discuss their love of sports, music and half-baked takes. In each episode, after Wayne wraps a show for thousands of fans, he’ll wind down with Carton and a special guest, covering the biggest stories in sports, entertainment and pop culture. They will cover the week’s biggest and weirdest headlines, from celebrity feuds and breaking news to all-time debates like the greatest rappers, worst sports meltdowns, and most disappointing movie sequels.

They will record an episode in front of a live audience at Fanatics Fest, with guests Eli Manning, Amar’e Stoudemeire and Darrelle Revis on July 19.

The Joint Venture Show is executive produced by Lil Wayne, Carton, Matthew Ostrom, Laura Palumbo Johnson, Jason Fox and Fabian Marasciullo.
