JoJo Siwa has admitted she was left fearing for boyfriend Chris Hughes' LIFE as he attempted a bobsleigh ride for the first time - reaching speeds of 138kph (85mph).

The pop star, 22, who has been dating former Love Islander Chris, 33, since last year - after the pair met on Celebrity Big Brother, was left begging for him to 'give her proof of life' after taking part in the BBC Sport challenge. 

In the run up to the Winter Olympics, which will take place in Milan, Italy, later this month, Chris spent the day in Norway training with the Team GB bobsleigh team. 

It saw the reality TV star try his hand at the high-octane sport known as 'F1 on ice', which sees athletes, solo or in teams of two or four, navigate sleds down a twisting ice track - as fast as 161kph (100mph). 

Originating in Switzerland in the 1800s, the sport has been part of the Winter Olympics since its debut in 1924 - and winners are determined by the speed of several runs.  

A 15-minute special showcasing Chris's attempt is now available to watch on BBC iPlayer, and will soon be launched on YouTube. 

It sees Chris looking nervous ahead of his high-speed attempt, telling the cameras: 'My heart is actually pounding… this is survival for me.'

In a first-look clip, the Love Island star can be seen on FaceTime with girlfriend JoJo, who is left fearing he could end up dead from the challenge. 

'You're actually doing this?' JoJo can be seen asking him, before adding: 'Text me a proof of life, I love you.... I just want to make sure you're OK.'  

It comes after Chris and JoJo hinted at baby plans after sharing AI images of their future kids following eight months of dating.  

'Meghan Trainor once told me, she said, "You will know you love somebody when you love them so much you want to duplicate them and you want to pop a baby out that is made from them,"' she shared, speaking to E!.

'One of the first things that I said to her after I started dating Chris. I was like, "I get what you're saying now." I love [Chris] so much. I need there to be a mini [Chris].'

The Dance Moms alum — who recently shared AI-generated images of what her and Hughes' future kids might look like — added that seeing a photo of her boyfriend as a child only added to her baby fever.

'He sent me a baby photo of him the other day. It's like him in a trash can. It’s really cute. And I was like, "Uh oh,"' the star added.

She also shared his response to her posting AI images of their potential kids.

'He definitely knows it's out there. A couple of days went by and I was like, "Babe, why don't you ever talk to me or say anything about this?"'

'He was like, "Babe, we had a full conversation about it." And I was like, "We definitely didn't." And he was like, "Oh yeah, that was with Jack" — his best friend.'

Earlier this year Siwa baffled fans after sharing AI pictures of her and Hughes' future 'family', despite only meeting on Celebrity Big Brother UK last year.

The couple revealed they have already talked marriage and recently spent their first Christmas together.

Siwa hinted she is already thinking about having kids as she asked AI to generate pictures of what hers and Hughes' children would look like.

She shared an array of pictures of the pair, from playing tennis and attending glamorous events to sunning it up in the US and wearing matching Christmas pajamas. 

The pair's romance took fans by surprise, after they bonded on the reality TV show, during which the singer declared she no longer identifies as a lesbian but now sees herself as 'queer'. 

And in April following the show's afterparty, Siwa notably split from girlfriend and Australian influencer Kath Ebbs.

Back in June, Siwa publicly confirmed her new romance with Hughes during an interview for Capital Radio.

She admitted that their relationship was no longer 'platonic' and said that she was 'head over heels' for Hughes.
