Blake Lively had a hilarious reaction to New York Mets announcer, Gary Cohen, calling pitcher Ben Lively by her name.

During the team's game against the Cleveland Guardians Monday night, cameras cut to the 32-year-old as he got up to pitch. 

'Last year, Blake Lively made his first appearance of the year for the Reds against the Mets in long relief and threw three scoreless innings. Now here he is facing the Mets for the first time as a member of the Guardians,' Cohen said, mixing up Ben and the Gossip Girl actress' name. 

A short clip of the flub was edited by SportsNet, which featured mock images of Blake rocking a Guardians cap.

'Well. Cats outta the bag. I'm a highly professional baseball player on the side,' the A-lister, who has no relation to the athlete, joked on her Instagram Story Tuesday.  

Ben also posted a screenshot of Blake's reaction to his Instagram Story, adding, 'The amount of times this has happened.' 

Fans were quick to jump in the comments section of the video, which was captioned,  'Was that Ben Lively making the start yesterday against the Mets … or was it someone else? Slip of the tongue from Gare.' 

'I knew I heard this,' one fan commented, while a second person echoed the sentiment, 'I knew I heard him call him Blake.'

Though Blake isn't known to be a big baseball fan, she recently attended Super Bowl LVIII alongside her pal, Taylor Swift, who is dating tight end, Travis Kelce. 

She was joined by her actor husband, Ryan Reynolds, as they watched the Chiefs defeat the 49ers in overtime 25-22.

'Last week I left my kids for the first time ever,' Lively wrote on Instagram after jetting to Las Vegas for the big game in February. 

She and Reynolds are parents to daughters James, Inez, and Betty, along with a fourth child who was born in February 2023.
