Attending a conference’s poster session can have high value to meeting attendees, according to Megan A. Corbett, DNP, RN, NPD-BC, OCN.

In a Healio video exclusive from this year’s Oncology Nursing Society Congress, Corbett recommends attending a poster session to meet with an expert on a topic that interests you.

“They are approachable and they make contact with you, and you are able to take something back to your own organization and implement it into your practice and change patient lives,” Corbett, nursing director of oncology infusion services at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, told Healio.
