This weekend, Collins attended the rescheduled White House Correspondents' Dinner, where she received the "Excellence Under Deadline Pressure" award.
Well, the 34-year-old journalist was in the audience when Donald Trump mocked her during his speech, jokingly mistaking her for trans activist Dylan Mulvaney.
"I thought Kaitlan had really made it big with a major new sponsorship, but then I informed her that it wasn't her on the Bud Light can. It was Dylan Mulvaney," Trump said.

Following his viral "joke," Trump posted an edited photo on Truth Social of Collins's head on Mulvaney's body holding a Bud Light beer can.
So far, in the replies, people can't stop rolling their eyes.
"Omg. The president is a misogynistic toddler, y’all."
"There’s literally someone collecting a government paycheck whose job it is to repost this crap."
"It makes things clear that his idea of disparaging someone is comparing them to someone transgender."
