Kylie Kelce kept the biggest secret in the NFL — that Taylor and Travis were dating — to herself for months.

Kylie and Jason Kelce knew Taylor and Travis were together before the singer ever turned up at Arrowhead, and they sat on it for months, right up until the couple went public at her first game.

“It didn’t hit the group chat,” Kylie said on a February 2025 episode of Call Her Daddy, explaining that she and Jason “found out together, but we knew before they hard-launched with her going to a game.”

That first Chiefs game came in September 2023 and kicked off the wave of Taylor-is-taking-over-the-NFL headlines. Kylie leaned into the joke, posting a TikTok in October 2023 of her then-4-year-old daughter Wyatt asking who everyone was during an Eagles broadcast: “Just another swiftie tryna learn football, or a kid tryna avoid a nap. Who knows?”

Despite that early access, Kylie didn’t meet Taylor in person until January 2024, when the families gathered in Buffalo for a Bills-Chiefs game. She said people were “deeply disturbed” it took months for the two to meet, which amused her. “I didn’t meet Travis for close to a year when Jason and I were dating, and she’s busy,” she recalled telling them.

The discretion held right through wedding planning. On an April episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, running cover for herself and mother-in-law Donna Kelce, she snapped: “To literally everybody, I know it usually comes from a good place, not always, but quit asking me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials. Nobody’s f–king telling you anything. I don’t have any details.”

Taylor and Travis married at Madison Square Garden on July 3, with Jason as best man and Taylor’s brother Austin as man of honor. On the July 23 episode of Not Gonna Lie, Kylie finally offered a little: “It was absolutely magical. I’m so happy for them. We love them so, so dearly.” Then she closed the door again, saying anything more was for Taylor and Travis to share.
