Knicks owner James Dolan threw shade at Mayor Zohran Mamdani during Thursday’s celebration marking the team’s championship – then appeared to dodge a photo op as he was given a ceremonial key to the city.

Dolan took a swipe at Mamdani during a speech at City Hall at the end of the Knicks parade down the Canyon of Heroes, and following a nearly 10-minute speech from Mamdani where he recapped the team’s highlights.

“I don’t need your vote, I don’t need to quote to you, right, about what happened here because if you’re real Knicks fans, you know it already,” Dolan said in a mic drop moment, though he didn’t mention the mayor by name.

Later during the festivities, Dolan didn’t appear too enthused about talking a photo with Mamdani when he was the first one to accept a key to the city from the mayor.

The team owner, decked out in a Knicks ball cap and orange jacket, shook hands with Mamdani and received the key before he started to turn back to his seat as Hizzoner awkwardly stood ready for a photo. Dolan looked back quickly but didn’t pose before heading back to his seat.

Dolan basked in the Big Apple’s celebration of his squad after he and Hizzoner beefed in recent weeks over stringent security measures set up by the NYPD around Madison Square Garden during the NBA Finals watch parties.

Dolan’s snappy comments came right after Mamdani’s speech, in which he name-dropped random former players, brought up memorable highlights that live on in Knicks lore and recalled some of the team’s march through the postseason.

The democratic socialist rattled off Bernard King’s 60 point game on Christmas Day 1984, Willis Reed’s gutsy performance in the 1970 NBA Finals and Patrick Ewing’s battles with the Indiana Pacers.

He even shouted out former Knicks enforcer Charles Oakley, who has bad blood with Dolan dating back to nearly a decade, as the team owner sat behind him.

Mamdani also named dozens of random ex-players like Jared Jeffries, Renaldo Balkman and Mardy Collins with Dolan.

He then relived some of the team’s incredible playoff run, including New York’s shocking comeback against the Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

The feud between Dolan, 71, and Mamdani, 34, erupted leading up to Game 4 when Dolan blasted the lefty mayor for setting up restrictions around the Garden that dampened the raucous watch parties taking place outside the venue.

“They’re sitting there trying to say, ‘Well, we’re big Knicks fans,’ but they’re not Knicks fans,” Dolan said on WFAN on June 10.

“He’s not a Knick fan,” he added in reference to Mamdani.

Mamdani also noted fans have waited “53 long years” for an NBA Finals ring — though Dolan pointed out in his speech some in the crowd don’t look old enough to have suffered through each season that ended without a championship.

“But we’re very, very happy to have brought you a championship,” Dolan said. “I’m very proud of our team.”

“Thank you for supporting our team,” the owner added. “We’re gonna keep working to bring you even better basketball.”
