Selecting the perfect skincare can transform our complexions entirely, even influencing how our makeup applies. With the beauty industry saturated with endless options, it can be challenging to determine where to spend your money and what will deliver real results.

Currently, one firming cream adored by former Love Islander and Maebe founder Molly-Mae Hague is sweeping through the skincare community thanks to its 'fountain of youth' formula and capacity to 'revitalise' the complexion. Beauty enthusiasts have been singing the cream's praises online, declaring it 'the most incredible moisturiser to have ever been created'.

But what is this product that shoppers 'can't live without'? The beauty purchase in question is the top-selling Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream.

The cream features a luxurious, nourishing formula that provides users with plumping moisture and antioxidant-rich Japanese purple rice which is claimed to deliver a dewy, radiant glow, reports the Mirror. The Tatcha cream has most recently appeared on Molly-Mae Hague's Instagram as part of an advertisement.

The influencer captioned the post: 'A fresh-faced Thursday' alongside a photograph of herself sporting luminous-looking skin. And it's easy to see why, as the cream's benefits are outlined on Tatcha's website as being 'healthy aging' alongside 'plumping' and 'hydrating,' with prices for the cream beginning at £26 for the travel 15ml size, which is perfect for those wanting to sample it before investing in a full-sized jar.

It's also the ideal addition to any holiday bag for those fortunate enough to be escaping for some summer sunshine this season. Those wanting to splash out on a larger 50ml jar can do so for £69, while the brand markets its 75ml pot as a 'value' choice priced at £97.

Tatcha maintains that, in a bio-instrumentation study involving 30 participants, there was an immediate boost in moisturisation by up to 225 percent. The cream doesn't just boast a formula that enhances barrier function to lock in moisture, it also works to diminish fine lines and deliver antioxidant protection against premature ageing.

Those who enjoy the ceremony of applying their skincare won't be let down either. The cream also offers a rich and indulgent texture, providing a luxurious-feeling experience.

For those hunting for plumping alternatives, ESPA stocks its Regenerating Phyto-Collagen Plumping Cream which is presently on offer, reduced from £87 to £60.90. It's been described on the retailer's website as an 'age-defying plumping cream that delivers long-lasting moisture'.

Meanwhile, a somewhat more wallet-friendly choice is the Glow Recipe Plum Plump Hyaluronic Cream 50ml which can be snapped up for £36 at Cult Beauty. Boasting a 'featherlight formula', it features a whipped gel texture designed to give users a radiant glow.

Returning to the Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream, it appears Molly-Mae isn't the only devotee of this product. On the Tatcha website, this moisturising skincare discovery has accumulated an outstanding overall rating of 4.8 out of five stars from more than 7,000 reviews, many of which seem to come from older customers.

One praised it as a 'youth potion' as they wrote: "The most incredible moisturiser to have ever been created, my skin feels rejuvenated!"

Meanwhile another gushed: "Fountain of youth. All I have to say is I can't live without this product! After 2-3 weeks of use I definitely see a 98% improvement in my skin! Even the first day you notice a difference... does just as it says!"

A third said: "I fell in love with Tatcha dewy skin cream. It feels luxuriously creamy, and makes me feel elegant and youthful."

Another older customer revealed they'd discovered the product through Molly-Mae, noting: "I am not a young girl and have always had a strict skin care routine. I stick with the same products, however, this was presented to me via Molly Mae. It is the nicest moisturiser I have used in 50 years, leaves skin feeling wonderful, and is a main stay in my daily routine."

It's worth highlighting that one user did raise a small concern, stating: "Love this skin care range, however I wish they offered a fragrance free range."

Despite this, another remarked: "Surprised - amazing. I am 47, normal skin, aging, wrinkles... and have been using products like Biotherm, and Clarins creams and their serums. Recently by chance my daughter gave me the Tatcha cream (she is a teen and didn't want to use it) and wow - just the cream, without even any serum or anything - does wonders to my skin! My face is so much more refreshed, yes and smoother (maybe even less wrinkles?) I came here to see what's in it, she only told me it's Japanese and 'really expensive' - turns out it is cheaper than anything I have used past years BUT it works better so 5 stars and a super happy recommendation!"

Another enthused: "Amazing. I have tried hundreds of creams over my 74 years and after 3 days a very noticeable difference. Skin looks plumped and soft and some of the wrinkles have gone, worth every penny - believe me."
