Two Love Island stars have been forced to depart the villa with immediate effect, hours before the final.
The penultimate episode of series 13 was broadcast on Sunday, July 26, before Monday evening's finale. Following Aidan and Priya's exit from the programme, the remaining couples consisted of Yasmin and Tommy, Jasmine and Kavan, Samraj and Mica, Angelista and Simba, and Julia and Lorenzo.
However, after reuniting with the ex-Islanders and hearing their thoughts, it was revealed Mica and Samraj would be leaving the villa.
The couple were booted out after a rollercoaster journey, having declared their love for each other days earlier during a chat with host Maya Jama.

It was a dramatic episode
After hearing the opinions of the other Islanders, Mica and Samraj were given eight votes to leave, narrowly missing out on making it to the final, reports OK!.
Addressing her exit from Love Island, Mica said: “It’s been such a crazy journey. I would have never thought I would have had that experience in the Villa. It has surpassed all my expectations. I’ve met such incredible people that I will love and cherish forever.
“And I’ve also met Samraj, and the fact that this is the first time for both of us to be in love feels so special and so amazing. It’s beyond my dreams and I’m just so, so grateful for my time.

“I made mistakes, but at the same time I learned so many lessons and I feel like I’ve really grown as a person. I’m really proud of myself. I’m really proud of everyone else as well and I’ve seen so many other Islanders grow.”
She added: “I don’t know what I was expecting when I came into the Villa, but Lord! I knew there would be a lot of highs and a lot of lows. But even the lows, I can really appreciate them as well.
“I just loved being there, honestly. It was fun. I felt like I was in my little fairytale land. I’m with sexy people, I’m tanned, it’s a gorgeous Villa! It is so much fun, honestly.”

Mica and Samraj received eight votes to leave
Samraj said: “I had the best experience of my life. I wouldn’t change anything. I wouldn’t even change the mistakes. I’ve learned a lot, I’ve grown as a person, and I feel very grateful to everyone involved who allowed me to be part of this process because I managed to receive the best prize in life, and that’s falling in love. I fell in love with the most amazing person. I made friends for life. I learned a lot about myself. It’s a unique experience and I loved every minute.”
Describing his experience, he continued: “I was using the analogy that it’s like a roller coaster. You get on, but you never know when you’re getting off. It made me realise who I am as a person as well. It made me realise what I think is important in life and what isn’t.
“When I look back, this will be a very, very key, if not the most memorable, moment in my life as a whole. I’m so thankful for everything that I experienced because, at the end of the day, I’m leaving with the woman that I love. I can’t ask for much more than that.”
Love Island is available to watch on ITVX.
