About the role
The Senior Advisor, Vocational Education Policy & Strategy plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of RMIT's College of Vocational Education. Reporting to the Director, Governance & Strategic Initiatives, you will provide strategic policy advice, lead key initiatives, and strengthen the College's engagement with government and external stakeholders.
You will analyse emerging policy and reform across the vocational education sector, prepare high-quality submissions, executive briefings and reports, and provide evidence-based advice to support strategic decision-making. You will also identify opportunities to enhance the College's external impact and influence through effective policy and stakeholder engagement.
Working closely with the Director, you will support the College's governance, reporting and risk functions, coordinating high-quality papers and submissions for University committees and executive forums. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic thinking with operational delivery, requiring excellent judgement, collaboration and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
