UNITED NATIONS, July 27. /TASS/. The Russian army is steadily expanding the zone under its control in the conflict in Ukraine, acting Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Anna Yevstigneyeva said.

"The reality is that the Russian army is expanding, step by step, its zone of control, disrupting the deployment of reserves, cutting off supplies to the Ukrainian army, and systematically knocking out facilities that support the Ukrainian military machine," she said at a UN Security Council meeting on Ukraine. "An attempt to challenge, for example, the Russian army’s seizure of Konstantinovka ended for Kiev’s propagandists with the capture of soldiers who had been sent there with the Ukrainian flag and Zelensky and Syrsky’s portraits."
