Jonathan Santucci and three Binghamton relievers combined on a two-hitter as the Rumble Ponies shut out the Portland Sea Dogs 5-0 in an Eastern League game Saturday night in Binghamton, New York.

Santucci struck out six, walked three and gave up two hits through five innings. Garrett Stratton followed with two perfect innings, and Zach Peek and Gabriel Rodriguez finished the shutout.

Top Red Sox pitching prospect Anthony Eyanson had a short start for the Sea Dogs, needing 79 pitches to get through three scoreless innings. He struck out five, walked three and allowed two hits.

Jedixson Paez took the loss, surrendering four runs (three earned) in 2 2/3 innings.

Binghamton took the lead in the fourth inning on an RBI single by John Bay. Jose Ramos made it 3-0 with a two-run homer in the fourth.
