Brooke Warne is reportedly wasting no time planning her dream wedding after announcing her engagement to long-time boyfriend Alex Heath. 

The 29-year-old daughter of late Australian cricket legend Shane Warne and Simone Callahan is said to be dreaming of a lavish European celebration next northern summer, with every detail carefully designed to honour her beloved father.

The pair are reportedly planning an elegant destination wedding in Greece, a place that has long held a special place in the couple's hearts.

'Brooke wants the wedding to be elegant, relaxed and all about family and friends,' an insider tells this week's Woman's Day magazine.

'She wants everyone to feel like they’re on one big holiday.'

The couple, who have been together for almost seven years, are reportedly keen to exchange vows surrounded by their closest family and friends in the idyllic Mediterranean setting.

The emotional ceremony is expected to feature several touching tributes to Shane, who tragically died of a heart attack in Thailand in March 2022 at the age of 52.

With the cricket icon no longer able to walk his eldest daughter down the aisle, Brooke's younger brother Jackson Warne, 27, is reportedly set to take on the special honour in what is expected to be one of the day's most moving moments.

Her younger sister Summer Warne, 24, is expected to serve as maid of honour.

The celebrations could also feature performances from two of Shane's most famous friends.

According to the insider, global music superstars Ed Sheeran and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin are expected to attend and perform during the festivities.

Other celebrities who could potentially attend include Shane Warne's ex-fiancée Elizabeth Hurley and her son Damian.

'Brooke would love Ed to play Perfect, one of Shane's favourite songs, as she marries Alex, and for Chris to perform at the reception,' the source said.

'Honouring Shane is incredibly important to her. There won't be a dry eye in the house when his memory is acknowledged.'

When it comes to her wedding dress, Brooke is reportedly taking inspiration from another Australian celebrity bride. 

The bride-to-be is said to have admired Delta Goodrem's recent wedding looks and is believed to have Australian couture label Paolo Sebastian high on her wishlist.

'She absolutely loved Delta's wedding looks and has been taking plenty of inspiration,' the insider added.

'Paolo Sebastian is one of the names at the top!'

Earlier this month, Brooke announced her engagement after Alex proposed during a romantic holiday in the United States.

The proposal took place in picturesque Bozeman, Montana, on July 11, with Alex getting down on one knee.

Sharing a series of intimate photographs from the moment on Instagram, Brooke also gave fans a close-up look at her dazzling pear-shaped diamond engagement ring.

The announcement was met with an outpouring of love from family and friends.

'Wowwww I have a brother!!' Jackson joked in the comments.

Summer added: 'The most perfect representation of soulmates.'

Their mother Simone Callahan also shared a heartfelt tribute, noting the appearance of a rainbow in one of the engagement photos.

'Truly a beautiful match made in Heaven, beyond happy for you both, endless LOVE and the rainbow, Dad's sign for you Brookie and Alex, he will be over the moon celebrating,' she wrote.

The pair have been dating since 2019 - they celebrated their sixth anniversary in September 2025, where they once again sparked engagement rumours.
