BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — July 24, 2026
The Monroe County Justice Building will be closed Monday, July 27, 2026, because of what county officials described as “unforeseen circumstances.”
The closure includes the Monroe County Probation Department, Community Corrections and the Public Defender’s Office, according to an alert distributed Friday evening.
Officials did not provide additional information about the circumstances prompting the closure.
Residents were advised to watch for further updates.
