Tennis star Naomi Osaka ecstatically revealed this Friday that she and her rapper boyfriend Cordae, 25, are having a girl.

The 25-year-old announced this January that she would be skipping the 2023 season because she is pregnant with her firstborn.

And this week she treated her more than two and a half million Instagram followers to a few glimpses of her gender reveal.

She posed in front of a backdrop reading: 'A Little Princess IS ON THE WAY,' surrounded by a spray of flowers and balloons.

Naomi put her blossoming baby bump on display in a Nike crop top emblazoned with the number 97 - possibly in reference to the year she herself was born.

Accentuating her features with elegantly soft makeup, she glitzed up the look with jewelry including a diamond and emerald necklace.

In one heart-melting picture, Cordae, dressed in the signature Burberry print, leaned down and planted a kiss on his girlfriend's baby bump.

Their relationship began with a date at a Clippers game in 2019 - and at that point, he says, he had no idea Naomi played pro tennis in spite of her making global headlines the previous year for beating Serena Williams.

'It’s not my sport,' he confessed in a couple's interview with GQ. 'If you asked me about tennis, before being immersed in it because of Naomi, I could only give you Venus and Serena Williams, you know? Because they’re just a part of the culture.'

Naomi, who has four Grand Slams to her name, set speculation swirling this January when she dramatically withdrew from the Australian Open.

Days later she went public with the reason for her decision, divulging via social media that she and Cordae are having a baby. 

However she insisted in her pregnancy announcement post that she was planning to return for next year's Australian Open.

'I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I'm looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone: "That's my mom,"' the Osaka native heartwarmingly revealed. 

'These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game I've dedicated my life to. I realize that life is so short and I don't take any moment for granted, everyday is a new blessing and adventure.' 

A couple of months later she told WBS In Japan: 'I definitely plan to come back... it's kind of like a break a little bit, but also I feel very competitive still.'

Naomi has described Cordae as 'quite a romantic dude,' revealing that during the coronavirus pandemic he flew to New York to quarantine with her ahead of the US Open because she was in tears from loneliness.

She dished that ahead of the US Open 'I’ll always have my dad with me, because he’s sort of like the guy that keeps me calm and he tells one-liners to keep me happy and stuff like that. He was unable to travel with me there.'

Naomi shared: 'During the whole New York thing and with everything that was going on, I started to feel really depressed. Sometimes I would call Cordae, and maybe in some of the calls I would cry. I don’t remember,' she said with a laugh. 'And he flew out, even though he was really busy. I really appreciated that.'
