SoundBridge have just released another update for their remote collaboration-focused DAW — reviewed here in SOS March 2026 — introducing an array of new features and implementing some changes and bug fixes.

The company say that one of the most significant improvements in SoundBridge 3.1.0 concerns the software’s AnyDesk-style remote control system. During collaboration sessions, the controlling user's cursor now dynamically updates to reflect every native SoundBridge cursor state on the remote system, making remote editing and navigation significantly more intuitive. There’s a whole lot more included, too — check out the list below for an overview of every new feature and improvement.

• Introduced the Macro Track, allowing control of multiple automation parameters simultaneously using a single knob. (Premium feature)
• Added new triangle, square and random automation drawing modes to the Draw Tool, along with improved snap-based drawing behaviour and new modifier controls for resizing, positioning and angle adjustment. (Premium Feature)
• Added the ability to stretch MIDI, audio and automation blocks directly in the sequencer by holding Ctrl and dragging from the start or end of a block. New context-specific cursors have been added to stretch each block type.
• Redesigned all native SoundBridge cursors.

• Mouse cursor changes are now visible in the Control Plane to other participants during virtual collaboration sessions when using the remote control feature.
• Improved noise cancellation for the talkback system during virtual collaboration sessions.
• Improved privacy for the virtual collaboration Control Plane, allowing only the SoundBridge window to be displayed.
• Increased the action area around the block edges so the cursor/tool changes more smoothly as it approaches the edge.
• Updated the splash screen.
• Added support for manually reordering and resizing columns in the MIDI Mapping menu, the File Transfer menu in virtual collaboration and the new Macro Track Binding menu.
• The tutorial view is now reset to the home page after each new SoundBridge installation.
• Updated the tutorial to include information on all the new features.
• Updated the Loopcloud link in the File menu to redirect to the affiliate link.

• Fixed a crash that occurred when copying and pasting an audio block in the sequencer using Ctrl + Shift + V.
• Fixed GUI and behaviour issues when editing default values on various parameters, and interacting with automated knobs during playback, ensuring proper visual updates and temporary manual override behaviour.

SoundBridge 3.1.0 is supported on PCs running Windows 10 or higher, and Macs running macOS 10.13 and above. 

SoundBridge 3.1.0 is available now, and is free to existing users. For new users, the software is available via subscription for $9.99 / month, or as a perpetual license for $199. There’s also a free version with a stripped-back feature set.
