I would appreciate your advice regarding the upgrade of my Synergy chassis.

My HPE Synergy chassis are currently running OneView 9.40, with firmware from HPE Synergy Service Pack SY-2024.11.02.

I am planning the following upgrade path:

• 9.40 → 10.00
• 10.00 → 11.01
• 11.01 → 11.10

However, the firmware currently installed on my chassis and on the servers they host comes from HPE Synergy Service Pack SY-2024.11.02, which, unless I am mistaken, is only supported up to OneView 11.01.

In this context, what would you consider to be the best approach?

Option 1:
Stop at 11.01 first, update the firmware on the chassis and servers using SPP 2026.01.02, and then complete the upgrade to 11.10 afterward.

Option 2:
Upgrade the appliances directly to 11.10 first, and only then update the firmware on the chassis and the hosted servers using SPP 2026.01.02.
