Hi @CRAIG16 ,You should stage the latest supported Composer version and pair it with the recommended Service Pack (SSP) for that release, rather than relying on an end‑of‑support SSP. Even though EOS packs may remain technically compatible, HPE explicitly advises using the Composer + SSP combinations that were tested and released together to ensure firmware stability and OS driver alignment.Key considerationsComposer compatibility: Each HPE Synergy Composer (OneView) release is validated against specific SSPs. Using unsupported SSPs risks firmware/driver mismatches.End‑of‑support SSPs: EOS packs may still function but are not updated with fixes, new OS drivers, or security patches.Firmware updates: Latest SSPs include updated firmware for compute modules, adapters, and infrastructure fabric.Upgrade paths: HPE requires milestone versions (e.g., OneView 8.60.01 before upgrading to 9.0) to ensure compatibility.Recommended ApproachStage the Composer firstUpdate to the latest supported HPE OneView/Composer version for your environment.Run the Update Readiness Checker before upgrading to validate appliance health.Apply the matching SSPUse the SSP recommended for that Composer release (e.g., SSP 2024.11.xx for OneView 9.0).This ensures firmware, drivers, and OS support are aligned.Avoid EOS SSPs for new updatesEOS SSPs are archived for reference and recovery but should not be used for ongoing updates.They lack hotfixes and new OS support (e.g., RHEL 9.5, Windows Server 2025).Thank you!

Starting with HPE OneView on the Composer 9.4 with SSP 2024.11.x, you can upgrade the Composer to 10.0 and then directly to 11.01, because those are milestone Composer releases and at the time still supported SSP 2024.11.xx
From there you can choose which current SSP to go to, depending on your OS versions and drivers, etc.
You could even go from OV 11.01 to 11.30 because there was about a month overlap of support for SSP 2024.11.x. If you have a choice, I wouldn't do that unless you planned to upgrade to a current SSP soon after.
