Join the Pre-GreenTech Fact Finding Tour 2026: a two-day horticultural fact-finding mission to the East Coast of the United States, taking place from 20 to 22 September 2026 in Pennsylvania. Held ahead of the GreenTech North America exhibition, this tour brings together Dutch and American companies, public organisations and knowledge partners to explore opportunities in one of the world’s most dynamic innovation ecosystems.

Through a programme of company visits, knowledge sessions and networking moments across Pennsylvania and Lancaster, participants gain direct exposure to practical applications, policy directions and collaborative pathways that can accelerate international growth and help build long-term partnerships.

Programme highlights

• Welcome drinks and mission briefing upon arrival in Philadelphia, focused on introductions and expectation setting
• Visit to the Lancaster region, including a knowledge exchange session on local challenges and insight into the local value chain
• Visit to Van Hoekelen Greenhouses in Pennsylvania, with discussions on large-scale greenhouse floriculture, ornamental forcing systems and Dutch genetics
• Meetings with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and the Governor’s Office for Transformation & Opportunity on policy, regulations and financial opportunities for international businesses
• Participation in the GreenTech Welcome Reception, jointly hosted by Pennsylvania and the Netherlands

Practical information

The mission is organised in collaboration with InnovationQuarter & RotterdamPartners, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the USA, and LIOF. Participation is limited to a maximum of 15 delegation members. The participation fee is €495 for the first participant and €250 for each additional participant. Travel, accommodation, GreenTech entry ticket and VAT are not included.
