ResponsibilitiesThe School of Communication at Florida State University (FSU) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position specializing in strategic communication with an emphasis on ethics. We seek candidates who approach this topic from a wide variety of approaches, including qualitative, quantitative, and/or critical scholars.
FSU’s School of Communication has a long-standing reputation for cutting-edge research, teaching excellence, and public outreach that influence and lead the field of communication and related industries. The successful candidate will have a strong record of scholarship in strategic communication, demonstrated through high-quality publications. Ideal candidates would have the potential for seeking and acquiring extramural funding.
We are interested in scholars exploring strategic communication with a strong emphasis on ethics who can contribute to the School of Communication’s areas of emphasis. Potential areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, strategic communication and AI, environmental communication, community resilience, risk and crisis communications, sports communication, and international/intercultural perspectives on strategic communication.
