Huawei has just confirmed that it will be hosting a new global launch event soon. As we have covered separately, the company is taking to Munich on September 2 for its 'Chase the Wild' product launch event.

Principally, the colouring of its teaser appears to reflect the Watch GT 7 and Watch GT 7 Pro, which arrived earlier this month in China. However, recent certifications suggest that Huawei has other high-end smartwatches in advanced stages of development, too.

Specifically, Huawei has certified the Watch D3 in Indonesia. As the screenshot above shows, the company is preparing two variants distinguishable by RIV-B10 and RIV-B11 model numbers. Unfortunately, the SDPPI does not provide any other details about what could separate these two models.

Nonetheless, the Watch D3 will directly replace the ageing Watch D2. Refreshed in September 2025, the Watch D2 originally arrived a year earlier globally. Still, the Watch D2 remains one of the only mainstream smartwatches that supports on-device blood pressure monitoring via a dedicated cuff, unlike the Apple Watch Series 11, Galaxy Watch9 or the Pixel Watch 5 (curr. $399 on Amazon). Currently, the Watch D3 is expected to launch next month in some capacity.
