Invitation: Online regional dialogues on contextualisation of IPBES assessment findings 
Dear IPBES members, observers and stakeholders,
I am pleased to invite you to participate in a series of regional dialogues on the contextualization of the findings of completed IPBES assessments. 
The dialogues aim to learn from people who use or support the use of IPBES findings in policy and implementation processes. IPBES national focal points, stakeholders, and others are invited to share evidence and perspectives on how IPBES findings could be more effectively contextualized and used in policy and decision-making processes in different contexts. Participants will be invited to share what has worked, what has not worked, what support is still needed, and which practical options could be explored.
These dialogues are organized to implement an activity in the workplan for objective 4 (a): advanced work on policy instruments, policy support tools and methodologies, set out in Annex V to decision IPBES 12/1, to inform a concept note outlining options for more effective contextualization of the findings of IPBES assessments for specific audiences. The dialogue outcomes will also support the IPBES Bureau and MEP in developing a proposal for future work of IPBES, as the MEP and Bureau need to take into account, as set out in decision IPBES 12/1, paragraph (6e) “the importance of strengthening the uptake, use and policy impact of ongoing and completed assessment”. 
A detailed agenda will be shared with registered participants in advance of each session.
